In 1979, Anders Bircow, Thomas Eje, and Preben Kristensen made their debut as the group LINIE 3, and the trio is now celebrating its 25th anniversary with the release of the critically acclaimed 25th Anniversary Show. The last 25 years have brought the three gentlemen into contact with TV, film, cartoons, solo shows, and theater performances, all of which have provided plenty of inspiration for the LINE 3 collaboration. And it was sold out. People got what they came for. As always, Niels Hausgaard's tour of 67 concerts is completely sold out—and it's easy to see why. He is Denmark's best seated stand-up comedian, managing to skewer the warlords Bush and Fogh with witty and funny angles, ridiculing Camre and the Langballe and Krarup cousins until there's not a dry eye in the house. He also exposes the creeping fascism at the Danish royal family's dinner tables, overflowing with marble cake and self-satisfaction.
