When a captain of industry trades his pinstripe suit for overalls and retreats to a hundred acre farm, the residents of Persephone Township raise their eyebrows. Weekend farmers are a common enough sight, but this man seems to think he can make a living with a broken down racehorse and a single furrow plough. Letter From Wingfield Farm is the story of one man's attempt to embrace a less complicated world. In a series of letters to the editor of the Larkspur weekly newspaper, Walt Wingfield tells of the people and events of his first year as a man of the soil.

The terrifying Hound of the Baskervilles, a gruesome crime in the moors, and Sherlock Holmes as a master of disguise. Based on the novel by A. C. Doyle, written by J. Janků. Recording of a production by the CD 2002 Theater Association. A visit to Prague's Divadlo v Celetné theatre will bring us a detective parody of Sir A. C. Doyle's famous novel The Hound of the Baskervilles, performed here by the CD 2002 ensemble under the title The Curse of the Baskervilles, or Beware of the Evil Dog! In addition to the story of the famous novel, which involves the investigation of a crime at a rural aristocratic estate, we can also expect something extra—the unique humor of the young ensemble and the completely unexpected situations that Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson find themselves in.

When the Tugendhat family had their villa built in the late 1920s, they had no idea how many stories it would inspire. A few years ago, British writer Simon Mawer wrote a novel called "The Glass Room." The novel tells the story of Liesel and Viktor Landauer, set in Brno between the two world wars. He was a promising industrialist, she was a rich beauty from a good family. As a wedding gift, they received a plot of land and had an Austrian architect build them a monumental house made of glass and concrete. Inside the house, their family life unfolds, but so do passionate stories of infidelity and even lesbian love. Through the glass of their villa, however, they can also observe the brown threat approaching from Hitler's Germany and the transformations of the young Czechoslovak Republic. When the threat becomes real, the Landauers understand that their time in the fictional City and in the house with the glass room has come to an end.
